Ranganatham Anisham Vandeham by Oothukadu Vekata kavi

This song – Ranganathm Anisham Vandeham by Oothukadu venkata kavi is really a masterpiece!

This is a song on ‘Peria Perumal’ in Srirangam. As in any other Oothukadu songs, the lyrics of this song also flows like a river. Really wonderful composition! And the ragam is “gambeera nattai” and as the raga suggest, (gambheera = majestic) the song just flows very majestically… It just awakens me everytime I hear it.

  5. Naadanusandhanam is one of the great paths, invented by Sanaathana Dharma. Thank you for the information. Pranaams at the holy feet of those great Naada Saadhakas…

  6. Reblogged this on Renjiveda's Ocean of Love and commented:
Meditation on Naada or the intimate melody is one of the great Golden keys of Indian Masters….

  7. Hi, Are the Swaras originally written by Oothukkadu?, they seem little unusual, would like to practice the Kriti with the original swaras, please help..
